The camera had in any case moved from Michael's restaurant to a holiday apartment block next door which, oddly enough, also closed for "renovations" a short time later.

Hi Kelvin, Yes it has. Michael's Restaurant, Valletta is undergoing renovation again, hence no camera. We all await its speedy return. Cheers from the UK.

The work alongside the Triton Fountain has been completed and was inaugurated today by the Valletta 2018 Chairman. It is The Nativity Scene Crib starting these years festive celebrations. A more detailed description of the crib is in todays Malta Independent. We should able to see it when the Triton cam returns

Looks quite busy for a November morning - I suspect the passengers of the cruise liner are up in the city enjoying it.

There is plenty work going on at the moment around the Triton fountain. It looks like they a building a tableau. There are sections of pretend brick and stone work. What looks like sections of a pool. And sat waiting to be placed in the pool is a boat

The building it is in is closed for "renovation", apparently. That could last all winter !

I think that the fact that the street is not lit by bright street lighting gives it a certain romantic ambience .gan canny tho' an divn't trip ower.
