Susanne I f you read my post, I did say , past the crane is las Americas, know one seems to know where cristianos finishes, and Americas starts! It is thought by many, that Americas starts at the Vista Sur shopping complex ,that's the one where the glass fountain is, at the start of the Golden mile?? The places for entertainment you mentioned are on the mile, plus back a bit is the Patch a top place for show bars. P. S. into my 25th year now, so starting to find my way about, it's coming back I have a problem with!

Just to add Anne, I have been to Benni a few times, you cannot compare los cristianos. to Bennidorm, one is a party town, one is laid back, I will let you work that one out! Las Americas has a bit of both, Benni , and los cristianos. all according to where you go in L Americas. Again Americas is a big place.

Hi Anne, hope this helps you in deciding, Benni or los Cristianos, Las vistas beach is in los cristianos, past the crane brings you into las Americas, which is about 10 times the size of los cristianos! Los cristianos, is in my humble opinion, more for the golden oldies. There are a few show bars in the beach areas, but go back of the front and you will find alot more. The old town area in los cristianos is mainly restaurants, and shopping. Now, the main thing how much for a, say one bed apt. for week you will be looking at 300/400 pounds. The weather has been fantastic all winter, around 70,to 80 degrees, (in old money) just the odd shower. Nothing much really. Anybody viewing the web cams can verify that! The place has been heaving with people all winter, so it,s make your mind up time. X
