Ray. I saw that on another post about iPads. I have an Amazon fire tablet and I cannot take pictures with that either. They take but then go dark and nothing happens. I then have to clear it to go back to the normal screen. I have no problems at work with a new PC and up to date operating system. I shift+print screen sunrises and sunsets in other countries too, they are really lovely.

Mandy P. Yes, I’ve read a comment you made about the old computer before, I just hadn’t realised the connection between your name and that issue. With the iPad, I can click the camera icon, the shot appears to have taken, but then it won’t post. Skyline isn’t set up to do pictures on mobile devices I read in another post.

Ray. I cannot post them on this computer, just enlarge the picture, press shift+printScrn and paste them into word documents. I only post from my computer at work during the day but the best views are in the evening or night! Got some lovely ones of Henry earlier and a few of the goose not doing a lot. There haven't been any elephants lately.

Mandy P, please take those moonlight pictures, they are always a delight to see. I mostly watch using my iPad and taking pictures to post is not a thing. I love sunrise, sunset and moonlit photos.

Ray. I wondered if the goose what going to do anything too. I am taking pictures of the full moon and Mars next to it, lovely

23.42 Kenya time. Watching what I now assume is an Egyptian goose. But I don’t really know. Very very still , almost thought the camera had frozen.

Margaret, I've had the dark screen issue when trying to submit photos i've taken before, it's frustrating. I got some good pictures of Henry when he came out 5 hours ago and went into the small pond while the camera was still in daylight mode we'll have to wait until monday to see since they usually don't post new pictures taken on weekends. I imagine the photo gallery will be flooded with Henry photos by then.

Mandy, I thought you said before you were doing it a different way.
Deborah, I've never had a problem with this camera until the last few days...first the buffering and slow response, but this is the first time it's done this. If it does it again I'll try your tip of flicking to another camera and back, but as you say, in most cases the opportunity is gone.

Margaret, sometimes I get knocked off being signed in and I loose the camera function until I sign in again. Other times, I am signed in and even though there is a camera icon, no photo is taken-very frustrating. I have to go out to another country then go back to Kenya and it works, but what I wanted to get a photo of is gone.

Margaret Taylor. if I press the red camera button it just goes dark with everything else underneath so I don't bother now. I just enlarge the page and press shift+print Scrn and save it in word so I can keep pictures for ever instead

Mandy..did you just press the red camera button? As you said fantastic view of him, that's why I was so annoyed .

Out of curiosity, did anyone have the same problem? Now that there's nothing to see the camera worked fine, plus I've just had a look at the Kefalonia camera and I was able to take a photo without problem.
