14:29 good morning to me and good afternoon to all of you. Ladies, I am fine, just get an allergy attack now and then. Weather changing and having the doors and windows open to get cool air in brings in other stuff. We are having smokes from the west coast fires, even though it is high enough up no not cause the breathing problems, the air is still dingy. I cannot imagine what it is like on the coast. looks quiet out there.

3:49 night shift singing off. Allergy attack and took a pill and I am going down. Not much happening, a few elephants, a black cat and hyena out behind the pond. Michael, I thought rain also but this has been happening every night about this time and lasts maybe 30 minutes. Could be, you are the expert.

    Hi all 00h45
HALIL I have heard of gifs not sure what they are. Sad to hear about the Zambezi camera it looked great there for the hotel people to just walk down and watch the great Zambezi and all its wild life while eating the delicious food.
Carol Deborah and MandyP yes there are fish in the small pond/or was before the great mass of heaving buffalo arrived. I saw a lone Heron in the small pool catch a large enough fish to see on camera rotated it head first and swallow it. I posted pictures I did not think there were any fish in the small pool what a gift for the day.

Deborah. I kept seeing its eyes shining from the other side but I
didn't see it come this side. I saw a dwarf mongoose come towards the camera but the eyes were still there. I wondered about a hyena. We haven't heard any lion noises yet

23:45 Mandy, I went back and looked at the one photo I copied to my file and it was exactly 1 month ago from when we saw the lions this time so maybe they are roaming.

23:39 I thought it was the black cat and it was so funny to see it getting out of the way of a lone elephant, same as earlier or a new one. Then I saw a black shape come in front of the camera and it looked too big for the cat so not sure. It was not a mongoose. He or she just passed by under the camera so probably the black cat.

Deborah and Mandy, thanks for your comments on the fish eagle. We used to see it on a regular basis last year, on here and another on the previous two Zambia cams. maybe will be a more regular visitor now.... I'll try and stop my finger from snapping away and give others a chance. Happy viewing everyone.

21:58 lone elephant back again. Feel rather sad for him.
