Thanks very much for that information John. I noticed there are different types of boats so I figured there must be a rental facility somewhere in the vicinity !

Ann Galea - I think they belong to Xlendi Watersports who hire boats from the pier just out of sight at the bottom right hand side of the picture. From 2 person speedboats upward

I kind of thought that's what they might be since they keep appearing and disappearing. Thanks very much for your reply Derek !

Great to see the little boats back in the bay for the summer.

Anyone know what the 8 boats are for and why they keep appearing and disappearing?

Stayed at Saint Patricks Hotel last week, absolutely loved it! Was very windy week but will remember this view forever!

Beautiful Xlendi. Lived in Gozo for many years. Lovely place. Better for a visit then to live and work. A definite retirement home for us though.

Sea is very rough today - very different to how I remember it in August!

Such a contrast to the business of a sunny August day. Looks so picturesque with the calm clear water surrounded by the cliff on one side and the pathway of the other.

BIG spider on the lens; where's John Goodman when you need him?

Hi Mary-Ann; We were there in August and had a couple of heavy downpours - something we weren't used to on the Maltese islands.

They had a lot of rain in Gozo, these last few days. That’s why the see is that colour.

very contrasting colours of water between in the bay & further out to sea - obviously a lot of silt has either been stirred up or washed down into the bay.
