I had a great time thanks Roger, was lucky with timing though as I flew with Thomas cook. If I'd have come back a week later I'd have been stuck! I'm not sure I've been to Los Realejos but might have traveled through it after visiting La Orotava. Did you read about the power cut this Sunday/Monday just gone? crazy

This restaurant is located on a wine estate above the village of Sta Ursula and has spectacular views. The menu is typical Spanish/Canarian and is very popular with both locals and tourists.I would suggest driving in on the top road from La Oratava to Pino Alto as the road from the motorway is very steep for a long long way, much more exciting coming down :) or get a taxi. Well worth the visit

15sep19--El Teide's most recent eruption occurred in 1909. Its summit 12,198 ft. is the highest point in Spain and the highest point above sea level in the islands of the Atlantic. Measured from the ocean floor, it is at 24,600 ft. the highest volcano in the world base-to-peak outside of the Hawaiian Islands. EnJoy EnJoy
