I just looked at the time lapse of Puerta de Jerez and some processions passed through there yesterday.
Why are some of the webcams not working like The Metropol Parasol?
Like watching the Marathon. Did it for my 50th birthday.
U nas w Polsce też jest pięknie.Zapraszamy do Polski.Do Gdańska,Gdyni,Warszawy.Polska ze swoim morzem i złotym piaskiem jest warta zwiedzania.
AND I post that just as one is coming past...... :)
John, I don't know the answer to your question but this cam sits at a tram stop with the main square toward the top. It is well away from the Cathedral, which is the hub for all the processions - so last year I saw people who looked like they were either leaving or arriving but only saw one official-looking procession pass here.
What's this parade about as the participants aren't wearing the pointy hats and look like they are just in normal clothes?
26mar18--Holy Week in Seville is known as Semana Santa de Sevilla. It is one of the city’s two biggest annual festivals, the other being the Feria de Abril (April Fair), which follows two weeks later. < wiki EnJoy EnJoy
Oh how I wish I was back in lovely Jerez, was there last month and loved it.
30dec17-- A Thank You to our host, Bus 2.0 Comunicación / Live Tourist Cameras Turiscam, for sponsoring this 'live cam' view of Puerta de Jerèz, Seville, stunning.
Thanks, Neil! Yes, we do have to work so we can actually go see some of these great places!
Hope you are feeling better Gwynn. I'm out again all day today but then we have a 4 day break. Guess what I'll be doing? I need to get out more!
Welcome back to the festivities, Neil! I have been sick for nearly a week so pretty much watched whenever I wanted - but had to get back to work today catching up and missed a bunch! May have to take long coffee breaks tomorrow!
Safe journey Neil.
