Thank you for your comment Richard, its the same in the UK regarding restaraunts just doing take aways only. It is a sad time for businesses throughout the world, Owners losing money, i hope you are in a position to overcome all this and may i wish you and all your staff stay safe, See you around sometime, As i said earlier we have to beat this dreadful virus, Take care!

    Hi Maria
We are not on lock down, we are on a lock out from the rest of the world. No incoming or departing aircraft allowed. Reduced office hours and shops close earlier than usual and not allowed groups of more than 4 people hence we have cancelled restaurant sit down service and only doing takeaway orders where people come and get their food and leave to take home. We have only had 10 positive cases and they are recovering and some to be released soon with about 160 in Govt Quarantine. All the 10 cases were imported ones with residents returning from overseas and were required to go straight into quarantine. I think we closed the borders just in time and we have managed to do well with limited resources and the number of cases are not increasing. We have also had huge assistance from Jack Ma and the Shiek of the UAE with cargo flights only with medical supplies like PPE`s and ventilators for our Ministry of Health. Tourist wise right now its virtually none existent but there were those who could afford to stay with no commitments in their own country for this period as they say it is safer in Seychelles than anywhere else right now. Hopefully the Seychelles tourism will bounce back. Our airport is closed till 30th APRIL and this may be extended into the month of May 2020.
    Stay Safe.

It always makes me happy when I see the dogs because they have such a great life! Their tails are always wagging.

I echo that Maria. I'm on day 2 of a 12 week isolation period. This and some of the other cams are a lifeline. Stay safe everyone and many thanks as always to Richard, the other web cam owners and Skyline xx

    Hi Everyone.
We were only notified today 10/03 that our live cam was offline for the last 2 days by one of our regular viewers, we did not realise this and investigated, we found a loose connection to the internet router. It has been rectified now and we are happy that it is now back on line and we apologise for any inconvenience.
