Nice to see the Police stopping motorists for a change, pity they are managing to block both lanes of the road while doing it just stopping them not directing to side of road, typical incompetence.

Having a BUS LANE at The Strand in Gzira is just there for arrogant drivers that think they own the road....... and there are a lot of them on Malta's roads. Where are the Jokers (Traffic Wardens) to keep an eye on these offenders/

Within an hour from posting last message they moved the bollards back to a more reasonable position!

Those building site bollards seem to move a bit further into the road every day!

Having driven many times in Malta I found out that the Maltese don't like to use their brakes, as far as they are concerned they are the only ones on the road, hence so many accidents.

Must say the ROAD WORKS are well marked do i see a little light at the end some of the lead booters cant make it out why they have to slow down its great to watch the braking lights come on in a hurry

Tony, they are not policemen, they are Transport Malta officials.

Just watching 2 Policemen controlling traffic, seems they are totally incompetent, one gets lonely and walks to his friend and traffic does it's own thing; Maltese chaos strikes again.

It looks to me as if Manoel Island is no longer an Island, or has there been a small channel left.
If there is I can't see it.

I am surprised they are allowing parking alongside the hoarding where they are working. because they have closed the footpath and have not provided a footpath alongside the hoarding. Now any pedestrians have got to walk in the road on the outside of the cars. Typical Malta see a space and fill it, sod any one else. (Rant over)
