I asked Skyline about the underwater camera: "it will be replaced asap, probably before the summertime."

Great to see this one back, but if they could give the lens a wipe, I'd be even happier. I can't wait for the return of the underwater cam...

IT-TORRI Restaurant Restaurant

In the far 1657, the Aragonese Knight Martin De Redin, was elected Grand Master of the Knights of St. John. His gift to the Order has been to building 13 watchtowers to re-enforce the defenses of the coastal areas. The Saint Julian's Tower, now known as IT-TORRI Restaurant, is one of them.

IT-TORRI Restaurant & Café is the ideal place for a “local flair”, lunch and dinner or just a drink with your friends. This restaurant, café, brasserie, wine bar is situated along Tower Road, Sliema seafront, on the terrace of the old fortified tower, once upon a time used by the Knights of Malta, and offers spectacular views of St. Julian’s Bay, Spinola Bay and Balluta Bay.

The menu offers the best of Mediterranean flavors: a wide selection of traditional and popular dishes ranging from various starters to main courses, including pasta, fresh fish, meat, pizza and special salads.

We are glad to serve our numerous tourists and even large groups of people with our specialties of Maltese traditional food such as Maltese rabbit, stuffed aubergines, stuffed beef rolls, Maltese focaccia, Maltese platter and Maltese salads.

One can also just sit for a glass of fine wine, a cool drink or an ice cream whilst enjoying the local “festas”. Moreover, we do serve delicious local cocktails made with fresh fruit.
