11nov18--Three days running now, after the tour trains are finished for the day, I have seen a single( at a time ) large bird swoop in and out of the view. The bird is brown with white markings and appears to be a bird of prey, ( tho I'm not sure) maybe an eagle, maybe a hawk. Much much to fast for me to capture w/o resorting to recording video ( fine for something's but for me takes the 'fun of the moment' out of the picture. ) Help! EnJoy EnJoy

@Patti - totally agree! Would be great to hear the steam trains coming and going.

Thanks for this wonderful webcam, of course I would have liked it more if it were with sound, to hear the steam locomotive machine ...

A correction , I said two days ago : ' The steam steel wheel tractor seen ' is not a tractor at all. It is a boiler mounted on steel wheels. Looks to be used as a water pump in days gone by. Thank You, jormaple, for the schedules, two hours after the last departure time things really quiet down. Flocks of smaller birds plus a few rather large ones can be seen though.

As our ( most viewers of SkylineWebcams are located in the northern hemisphere ) daylight per day shrinks, here the Sun stays longer each day. Till the solstice. EnJoy EnJoy

Rail road crews not only manually operate the many many switches seen here but also scrutinize the coaches movements communicating with the engineer(s). The switcher engine is not steam but diesel/electric ( assumed ). EnJoy EnJoy
