Hi Maria, we’ll be there last week of Feb & first week of March 2020, same time every year.. have always seen one or two herons and sometimes younger ones.. there is another island very close called Diffushi that they can also visit..

10/29/19~~ raining down on all the popular Maldive cam sites today. Four visitors took to the beach with the 'blue umbrellas' and the wind chased them back inside!! The heron is at the shoreline, looking for breakfast!

10/18/19~~~late afternoon now, guests are walking around with blue umbrellas, resort must provide them! Still raining, hope the sun comes out for all the visitors, very soon. Must be so disappointing. Herpn still taking cover!!! Smart one!
