05:05 May 17, 2020 - Hi Kaisar, thank you so much for your note to me on Kenya Tsavo. I just viewed the photo you submitted here on Deal on May 15, 2020, in response to my desire to see (across the English Channel) the cliffs of France from Deal, UK. Yea!, I see them. Now I know where to look on the horizon to see them in the future. By the way, Eva took good photos on May 14, 2020 and May 15, 2020 and the cliffs of France are visible. Thank you for remembering me. Best regards, and stay well, Kaisar.

09:00 March 5, 2020 - Hi kaisar, after writing my note to you on March 1, then for a couple of nights, I noticed the glow of city lights across the Channel. They were to the diagonal right on the Deal cam when it pans to the far right. So I looked at a map, and I believe they were the lights of Calais, France, or at least that area. Anyway, I am having fun with the Skyline cams around the world. I'll write you a note over on Dover too. Best regards to you, kaisar.

Hello J Funny there are only 2 webcams on Skyline of the South East coast and they are Deal and Dover, you would not be able to see the white cliffs of France from the Dover cam as it is to low, but you might be able to see from the Deal one as it is higher up, never really looked myself from the Deal one to see if you can see France. You can see the white cliffs of Dover from the Dover cam now as it pans round which is really good as you get to see a lot more of the cliffs and the castle which looks really good at night when it is lit up, hope this helps a bit

23:38 March 1, 2020 - Greetings Kaiser, hey thanks for your reply. I thought the exchange I had with a lady (I do not remember her name) was on this cam, who told me about being able to see the white cliffs of France. That was many months ago. I have gone back one year on both the Deal and Dover cams to find our comments. Couldn't find them; Skyline must have deleted them. Maybe she was just speaking of viewing, but not from these cams. Anyway, I have been so curious. I just do not know if there is a cam and what time of year when it is not so hazy or cloudy to be able to view the white cliffs of France from the English coast. I will check and see if there are any Skyline cams on the coast of southeast of the UK. Bye for now, Kaiser and thanks again.

Hi J Funny, You can see the white cliffs of France on any clear day of the year from the South East coast you don't even need to use binoculars you can see them with the naked eye, and at night you can see all the lights as well

20:42 February 29, 2020 (Leap Day) - Greetings Chris, Alan Jeffrey, and Kaiser, and anyone else who can answer my question. Months ago, someone told me that the white cliffs of France on a clear day can be seen (from this side of the English Channel). Do you know what time of year is the best to see them? So far, I keep missing them. Thanks.

Sea looks very calm this evening, especially compared to the Belgian coast, it is still wild here.
