An intriguing suggestion Doridian. It certainly does need TLC but Skyline don't seem to be interested.

As the camera 'shake' is very consistent I would say the motor is trying to make it pan! It needs some TLC.

To J Funny, There you go. White cliffs of Frrance visible to SE where they always were. When I had a place down there, with a decent pair of binoculars you could clearly see the Town Hall in CAaais on a day like this. I miss it.

08.33 07/07/2020, Hello J Funny, yes I would agree with you, just looked at your photo and I would say that the lights on the left is Calais not sure about the middle light and the one on the right was a ship, hope you are keeping well, take care

06:57 July 7, 2020 - Greetings Bob C, Those are the lights of Calais, France on the horizon on the right. When it is nighttime and not hazy, and the moon is not full, you can also see the glow of the city along with individual lights of the city. The maritime traffic in the Channel would not cause the glow. Take a look at a map, and you will see that Calais is that direction from Deal, UK. Have a nice day......Kaisar, do you have a comment about this? Please look at my July 6 photo.

    J. Funny, as you are looking at one of the most densely used sections of the channel, don't you think they could be the lights from the ships that are passing through the channel. Just a thought.

01:09 July 6, 2020 - The weather is clear enough that I can see the city lights of Calais, France, across the English Channel. The full moon is also lighting up the area. I submitted a nighttime photo; hopefully, Skyline will upload it. Have a nice day everyone!
