Hi Larry. Used to do the Brickies at the same time. Had some great party's at your base until someone fell off the tower and broke their collar bone! Can still taste the Southern Comfort. Regards from Deal.

OMG! Thought we'd seen the last of the white stuff. The beach looks so cold and wild specially after the lovely sunshine we've had recently. At least we can see the beach though - Deal is just white. Hope this doesn't last long, I hate the snow. Take care everyone specially if your'e driving or have to travel today. Keep warm xx

David, Yes. Stationed at RAF Swingate. The towers are still there today. I lived in a flat in S. Margaret's with two friends.

Larry Savage, was you in the USAF in those days, based near St Margaret's Bay?

Love the live cam. Have to look at it a couple times a week to bring back memories of my favorite town on earth. Was first there in 1965-66. Brickies (the Brick Makers Arms) lives on! Last time was the month of August, 2017. Hope to get back next summer. The channel looks nice and calm today. Sentimental ravings from an American in Charleston, South Carolina, Larry Savage

I told the Inland Revenue I didn’t owe them a penny because I lived near the seaside. RIP Ken Dodd.

We have freezing rain here where I live and that's about 8 miles as the crow flies from this location. Even the wall of our house has iced up with this rain.
