16may19--2:26 on the 17th local time. Dark mostly, three spots of light down near the gasoline / service station. Viewed this 'live-cam' for a bit earlier today and up'd a pix. Now as for ( train spotting ) : I spotted a train in the flick "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" the 1969 spy film and the sixth in the James Bond series. Not Sean Connery nor even Roger Moore but the actor George Lazenby ( his only 007 flim ) which IMO he did a fantastic job. ANYWAYSThere are several minute showing the train and the station though not exactly at this location but close enough and for sure part of this rail system. This 'live-cam' made watching OHMSS even more special. EnJoy EnJoy

4may19--The spiral viaduct is 110 meters long, has a horizontal radius of curvature of 70 meters, a longitudinal slope of 7%, and is made up of nine spans, each 10 meters in length. The viaduct lifts the train by 20 meters. The stone-built viaduct was opened on 1 July 1908, upon the opening of the Tirano–Poschiavo section of the Bernina Railway. In 1943, the whole of that railway company was taken over by the Rhaetian Railway, which still owns and uses the spiral viaduct today. EnJoy EnJoy
Cheers Maggs, very helpful.
Riding the train and going on the Brusio Spiral Viaduct was very special. It was so beautiful with the snow all the way to Chur. A stop at Poschiavo, Alp Grum, and Pontresina is recommended. I recommend a stay in Pontresina and Gasthaus Berninahaus. The hostel at Pontresina is very well located and will be convenient for a base to travel bypublic transport around the Engadin.
Derek05 if you scroll down there is a timetable and they are one hour in front of us
I second that Derek05, I simply LOVE train spotting but I've got errands to run!
Derek05, local time (Switzerland)
Could anyone please tell me what time the next train is, UK time?? Thank you.
Another 10 carriages today at 1046 hrs...….
10 carriages, the most I've seen.
