I love watching for the trains here. In 2015, we traveled from Italy to Switzerland and could have taken this route - but didn't. With only a week, we instead went to Lucerne and rode the Golden Pass. However my daughter rode this route last summer and her pictures are gorgeous. She took several out the window here at the viaduct, knowing I watch. :)

The spiral viaduct is 110 meters long, has a horizontal radius of curvature of 70 meters, a longitudinal slope of 7%, and is made up of nine spans, each 10 meters in length. The viaduct lifts the train by 20 meters. (puts away the hp 11c) huge difference. 20 meters looks correct from train pictures under the arches, eh? I'm happy I found it written. The stone-built viaduct was opened on 1 July 1908, upon the opening of the Tirano–Poschiavo section of the Bernina Railway. In 1943, the whole of that railway company was taken over by the Rhaetian Railway, which still owns and uses the spiral viaduct today. ___ I did not look at a you tube model but many have built them.

27nov17--I up'd two 'photos', both were just minutes apart as witnessed by the sun lit areas on the far away mountain. I wonder if model train enthusiasts build this Brusio spiral viaduct?

25.11.17 13:42 UK time. Can hardly see the bridge for low cloud/fog? Let alone spot the train! :)

I've a rather large display on my PC. Full screen is full screen, with the quality of the video so excellent it's like looking through one of my own home's windows..( the view a bit different ;-)____ SkylineWebcams are the best ! ! The program Flash Player (FP) is used to view and hear. FP has programs used with Firefox/Internet Explorer/GoogleChrome . Apple has it's own app for FP. -- Just a suggestion , check for a update and check your own devices settings on FP, as Bob C indicated.
