Police stopping people sitting on the Spanish Steps but none here where people are crowding together. Daft!

Elderly couple sitting on bench asked to move on by police. They did so but as the old man had a walking stick why weren't they allowed to sit for a rest. Sorry but this is not on!

This must be strange for the locals I see a couple walking their dog and not another soul around respect for everyone staying indoors

This empty atmosphere makes me think of the song Vienna by Ultravox, even though of course Vienna is in Austria.

Two police cars parked at the side of the street. The odd dog walker and solo person and a street cleaning machine that has nothing to clean because no one is around to mess them up. There must be a song in there somewhere that Jacque Brel or Scott Walker could have sung. The emptiness is quite sad.

Very sad to see these beautiful empty cities.
My Rio de Janeiro is like that too.
The days are sunny, but we can't go to the beaches or the streets. Quarantine is necessary and we have to be aware of that.
We are in prayer for our Brazil and for the whole world.
I trust that we will soon overcome this virus.
    Amen.

It is very depressing to see all the beautiful beaches and towns, villages, mountain slopes and not a soul out. I am very sad for Italy and the whole world. Pat USA
