Yes, it's all a bit boring now Vanja, now the processions have ended and it's back to normal! :)Yes, I am also curious!! :)
John, don't apologize, I didn't see it as the ignorance, but curiosity :)Everything's back to normal now, trams passing by, just saw my first one on this cam...
Thank you Vanja for your explanation and apologies for my ignorance of your religion. Have a good week too.
John, it is because people in Serbia are mostly Orthodox, and celebrate holidays according to the Julian calendar. Sometimes, Easter falls on the same day as Catholic, sometimes there's 4 week difference! :) Have a nice week!
Happy Easter Vanja for next week in Serbia :) Why is it next week there?
I missed it, too, Vanya! Yes, we can start looking forward to next year in Seville. :)
Oh, I missed it completely, last night and today's gathering, never mind, there's always next year :)Thank you all for a lovely and interesting company, good night from Serbia, where we'll be having Easter next weekend :)
Thanks for the chat Georgina and others. I have enjoyed it, yes, catch you same time, same place next year I hope?! :) Have a good time in Barcelona.
Yes John sadly you have missed it. It is always around lunch time on Easter Sunday. It was a very poor turn out as you will see on the time lapse. It has been extremely quiet compared to last year. I hope that you have enjoyed it though John and hopefully we will all be around to watch it next year.
Do you know what time that will be Georgina? or (judging by the chair clean up happening right now!) have I already missed it?!!
I hope no one is missing the last procession. I meant to say last night that it takes place earlier today.
Happy Easter everyone.
The fast clean up and set up here always amazes me.
Crikey!.... I blinked tonight and missed it all!!....will be back tomorrow night for the last evening of parading, I will be more attentive too!! Night night ladies, Happy Easter to you both.
