Saw numerous hippos out there tonight, not great pictures because everything is blurry or in the distance. Took me a few seconds to even make out the shapes. They are consistent though, every night. Didn't get a picture, but pretty sure I saw a mama and baby a couple of nights ago. Got a quick pic tonight of one.

Really interesting read on the Royal Zambezi website/FB page, it makes you realise how this horrible virus is affecting the whole world. Take care everyone.

Methinks the animals are self isolating!

I think those pesky monkeys have knocked the camera off kilter.

Thanks Rita. I've seen 4 hippos tonight. Unfortunately, when the camera pans, it is actually fuzzy, so it's hard to take a good picture. Plus it's between 4 and 5 am, not the best light either. Still, It's so nice to see wildlife on this cam again.

Hi Lynn took a look at your photo and yes it looks like hippos to me. Natalie said in her post that the weather was warming up and that the animals would becoming to the river so hopefully this is the start of seeing them all again. :)

Thank you Natalie, we missed the camera very much, every day we watched if it was already in operation. We love Zambia the Zambezi River and especially the animals whether it is day or night.
