Santa Barbara

Between the steep Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific ocean lies pure West Coast perfection, the city of Santa Barbara. Nicknamed the “American Riviera” for its Mediterranean-like climate, Santa Barbara enjoys sunshine all year long.

Our Santa Barbara live webcam offers a sweeping view of Stearns Wharf and beach area. Similar to other California cities, a short walk through Santa Barbara is sufficient to understand the lasting influence of the city’s Spanish period dating back to the 16th century. The architecture alone mirrors this era, elements of Spanish Colonial Revival and Mission Revival dominate the city streets and emanate an almost European-vibe.

Broadcasting directly from the beach, this Santa Barbara live cam catches each and every striking sunset. With approximately 300 days of sunshine per year, chances are you’ll find just the right weather to explore the city. The must-see list begins with the so-called Queen of the Missions, Santa Barbara’s Old Mission, historic landmark and place of worship since 1786, and continues with Stearns Wharf, State Street and the beautiful Botanic Garden! One of the very best ways to experience this small gem is by diving head-first into downtown Santa Barbara’s culinary scene; the city presents an abundance of choices that will undoubtedly satisfy even the most demanding taste buds.

Impatient? Can’t blame you. Get a feel of the area now with our live webcam in Santa Barbara!

7sep19--Stearns Wharf is located adjacent to the harbor in Santa Barbara, California, United States. When completed In 1872, it became the longest deep-water Wharf between San Pedro and San Francisco. Named for its builder, local lumberman John P. Stearns, the wharf served the passenger and freight shipping needs of California’s South Coast for over a quarter century. EnJoy EnJoy
