Sumy - Lushpa Monument Live cam

As visible from this Sumy live cam, the statue, dedicated to Mikhail Afanasyevich Lushpa (a Communist Party leader and a Sumy honorary citizen –recognition received for his significant contribution to the city's construction during the 1970s-80s) is located at the entrance of the Children's Fairy Tale Park. The work of Kharkiv sculptor Eldaniza Gurbanov, the monument consists of a 5-meter granite block that symbolizes Sumy before Lushpa’s arrival to the city. The latter is depicted sitting on a bench laying on two stones of different heights.
