Hi Paul, I'm still here, there doesn't seem to have been many ships in here this week, certainly nothing different. I've still been watching the Malta cameras and Kenya....we like to keep track of Henry (hippo) as there are not many other animals about at the moment...too much water for them elsewhere!

No Margaret. But saw your photo when I read the comments. I am not spending as much time on here of late, so many of my favourite cams are missing or having problems daily. I do hope you are both well and having a good start to the year. Keep up with your comments and photo's I look for them daily.

Hello Margaret. Had a very quiet New years eve, but a great Dinner New years day evening.I'm sure your friends will love Oceana. Been round the Canaries on her in April and we were on deck 5 midships. Sea conditions were very good all the cruise. Also been on her twice round the Med. Deck 9 again midships One was in April again and was a little choppy in places but I fortunately have never suffered from sea sickness although my husband did (even in the Caribbean:() I'm sure that being midships will help and besides there is so much to see and do she'll not have much time to worry. Anyway, apparently the ship's doctor has a magic injection for sea sickness if needed. Tell her to have wonderful time. What always amused us was on our return for several days when in bed it felt like we were still being rocked to sleep lol.

Hi Carol & Debbie, I would agree I'm certain that was AIDAnova that was here on Wednesday, I think she's on the same 7 day cruise for the whole winter season. Carol, we have a friend who has just booked on Oceana in April. It's their first cruise and I don't think she's a very good "sailor" so a bit worried about being seasick etc. I think they are on deck 4 or 5, near the middle of the ship, which they have been told they should feel the least motion. I sent here a couple of photos which I took when I saw Oceana in Malta last September. How are you by the way, did you have a good New Year (apologies if I've asked previously I try to do so many things at the same time)?

Hi Debbie. I was a little puzzled about MSC Grandiosa being here on the 8th and being in Barcelona today the 9th. As far as I can see it was AidaNova that was here.

Hi Paul, I love the cameras in Malta as we know the island well.....back again in May. It was when we returned from holiday last May that hubby found Skyline. He quickly got bored but I've been addicted ever since!! I still prefer the cameras there, because you seem so much closer to the ships and also because there are more cameras around the harbour you can get lots of different views. They definitely need to get the other harbour camera back in action, and I used to like the moving one from the British Hotel, which vanished a few months ago.
