And much bigger thanks to the cam-operator today because of the comprehensive and very interesting tour around the port this afternoon.
    Only some comments were missing.

Thank you so much to the camera operator....Santa Cruz port is a favourite destination of mine so to be able to see what goes on when I'm not there is excellent. The carnival has been fantastic but I was so surprised to see the fireworks this evening, so perfectly framed too. Thank you

Thank you to our hosts for such superb camera skills and dedication this weekend. It's been fabulous for us all to see that this vibrant little city it so much more than just a port for the big ships! Santa Cruz you did yourselves proud!!! Love all the carnival photos too, thank you everyone that took the time to post them for us to enjoy x

Yesterday I thought it was fog that we could see, but is this the effects of the Saharan sandstorm?

Those marchers/dancers must be dead tired by the time they get to the finish line!

Out of curiosity I looked to see what is going on, another night, another parade. Apparently the carnival goes on until Tuesday....and Paul you were right, it must be windier tonight, and the sound is horrendous!! I wonder if the people waiting for the portaloos know they are on camera!! Must be carnival time in lots of places, as Malta's is the same dates.

Hi debbie, there’s a stage set up to the left of the camera. I believe there was something on last night as there was loads of rubbish to tidy up early this morning!

I certainly do, we are always here!! Do you live in Durham? What a mess this morning in Tenerife, looks like more litter etc thrown about than a Wednesday (student) night in Durham!

Hi Margaret, after my last post it started to pan again until today. It must have something to do with the stage that’s been set up,I think that I caught a glimpse of you in the back of your shop on Thursday when I was driving by. Do you wear glasses?

Hi Paul, It's days since I've looked at this camera. So have we gone from it being stuck zoomed in, to just being stuck....with sound. There seems to be a carnival on tonight (Friday). The strange thing is there's music, a stage, flashing lights......but hardly any people. Having said that there is now even more noise and it looks like the start of a parade just under the camera!!

Hi Margaret, it used to pan but for the last 3 days it’s been stuck and we’ve got sound! I normally wouldn’t complain about the sound but when the wind is up it’s horrendous.
