Enjoy the awe-inspiring beauty of one of Rome's most famous squares with our webcam in Piazza del Popolo!

Immense and scenic, Piazza del Popolo is located near the Tiber, just below the Pincio Terrace and park, at the confluence of three of Rome's busiest shopping streets: Via del Corso, Via del Babuino and Via di Ripetta. No wonder it's bustling all year round!

Our live webcam in Rome takes users to the foot of the Pincio Hill, right in front of the Flaminian Obelisk, one of Rome's 13 ancient obelisks.

The 23.9-meter Egyptian obelisk - dating back to the 14th century B.C. - was the first one to be transferred to Rome to celebrate Augustus’ victory over Egypt. Initially located within the Circus Maximus, Piazza del Popolo’s obelisk was used to entertain the Romans: they would blindfold a contestant and have him to walk from the obelisk to Via del Corso.
