Someone at the top. You can see their torches moving. :-)
Beautiful scenery! Calm, peaceful, quiet! An invitation to contemplation and meditation!
zero visibility today on the Teide, totally covered! Thank you Mihai, sunny days here still, going into autumn. have a beautiful afternoon.
A beautiful day to you, too, Patti!
Ohh Mihaí, Thank you, for your information, something like this I had noticed, always sunny, but today I look again and I took a shot to upload it to the skyline, too much fog and the Teide is not visible. I love looking at the road watching your vehicles go by, today it is not possible. Have good afternoon.
There used to be a camera on Mount Guaza that pointed in the direction of Mount Teide that was wonderful for weather watching. You could track the greening and seering of the landscape over the course of the year. Saw some fantastic storms and you could pick out when Teide was cloaked in the white stuff..
My mistake: covered with snow...
Hello Patti, thank you for your appreciation. It is quite unusual to have bad weather across the entire island of Tenerife. Usually the climate is sunny and dry, even very dry in the southern half of the island. Erratic rainshowers are quite common but they usually cover limited areas and do not last long. But today the entire island was engulfed for several hours in heavy rain and as we could all see Mount Teide was covered in snow.
Hi all! Today, ... what a beautiful image of this place, snow on the volcano !. Mihai, excellent your comment !, the diversity of the landscape, radiates beauty, today I find this beautiful panorama, snowy. is unusual? or at this time is the weather like this? Hello, Audrey, how are you? I read that you were there. I hope you have really enjoyed your trip.
25.03.19. Well a surprise to check out this cam and see snow on the mountains!
Love to see bad weather in Tenerife. It is so unusual and fantastic at the same time. Too much sunshine can be boring sometimes. Nature is beautiful when it rains or snows, as well.
Terrible weather in the Canaries today even at sea level. Lots of snow on the top of Mount Teide.
Wow! Padre Teide!Gracias por este camara!I was there 2 month ago!It was amazing!
oops, my mistake, Planet of the Apes was not filmed here.
I drove up here last week and the view over the Canadas is spectacular, you can go for long walks and up other mountains round about. It can get cold as you are above the clouds, this is also where they made the film Clash of the Titans and Planet of the Apes.
