Playa de Troya - Las Americas - Tenerife

Playa de Troya is the oldest established beach in Costa Adeje located in a very central position, it is surrounded by hotels, shops and restaurants. Its tourist offer is very rich and also includes a lifeguard service, a tourist information office, disabled access, sunbeds and parasols, parking, showers, changing rooms and bathrooms.

The webcam is hosted by Hotel Troya.

    I'm thinking of booking 2 weeks next March. Just hope the quarantine when returning to the UK and new mask rules might change by then....

    The time lapse today, July34th shows the boat beaching @13seconds in, click the time line to pause it. Before daylight arrives there is a marker light of a boat traversing left and right for a while, maybe launched from a 'mother ship'?
    Might have had the map upside down and turned left to Canaries rather than right to the Channel and here in UK...

    Sad to see Paramedics taking a stretcher into one of the vehicles, suited operatives still by the boat. Crane doesn't seem to have any safety tape around it, people walking around while it's luffing and lifting..

    Wonder what has happened here!
    Lots of police ambulance and people in white suits. Looks like they are taking pics too!
    There’s a boat in the water and lots of people huddled together. Hope all is ok :-(
