Thank you Victor for explaining. It is lovely to see the churches open again albeit in the ‘new world’ we find ourselves in. Stay alert and safe all.

Julie, the occaions if the feast of Corpus Christi (The Body of Christ). It is also the day when churches have reopened for the worship of the faithful after being locked down because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The churches are open with restrictions such as the number of people that can attend Mass at the same time. They have to wear surgical masks or visors and as you can see chairs are marked where people can sit in order to keep social distancing. That's going to be our new normal post COVID-19

    Avviz dwar ic-celebrazzioni tal-quddies f'dan is-Santwarju:
L Isqfijiet ta ’ Malta u Għawdex qegħdin iwaqqfu l funzjonijiet reliġjużi kollha, inkluż il Quddies ta’ kuljum u ta’ nhar ta’ Ħadd. Din il miżura ta' prekawzjoni tidħol fis seħħ b’effett immedjat u qed tittieħed għal ġid ta' kulħadd u biex jiġu mħarsa t-twissijiet maħruġa mill-Awtoritajiet tas-Saħħa f'pajjiżna.
Il-Komunita' Tereżjana ta' dan is-Santwarju tistiednek li ssegwi minn kull fejn tkun Talb u Quddiesa (li jsir bil-bibien magħluqa) fuq din il-webcam.
Meta s-Saċerdot ikun qed jitqarben nistednuk tagħmel it-Tqarbina tax-Xewqa.
Quddies (fi knisja magħluqa) jkun iċċelebrat hekk: kuljum fil-6:45 am u Mument ta' Talb fil-5:00 pm.

A note regarding Liturgical Celebrations in this church:
The Bishops of Malta and Gozo have asked the faithful to refrain from coming together in groups as a precaution against the spread of COVIN-19. They have also suspended all religious functions, including daily and Sunday Masses with immediate effect.
The Discalced Carmelite Friars that minister in this church invite all to follow Mass celebrations (that are held without the presence of a congregation) and Prayers on this webcam. It is suggested that while the celebrant is receiving the Eucharist one may make a Spiritual Holy Communion.
A daily Holy Mass (celebrated in private with no congregation present) is celebrated daily at 6.45 am. An evening Prayer Session will take place at 5:00 pm.
Sunday Mass celebrations will be at 7.00 and 10.00 am. Prayers will be at 5.00 and the celebration of Mass (with no congregation) at 6:30 pm.

Someone has done an amazing job setting this one up - great view (and sound too) I'd tilt it down a tad but that's just being picky... Always good to have another skyline webcam onboard
