Well said Philip, I just wish that folks would engage the brain before making negative comments whenever a camera goes down or is obscured by salt spray or Sahara sand. Gan canny lad

Charles: These views are not a service they are a free bit of pleasure provided by local sponsors. They are reliant on a lot of factors working. Most are quickly fixed once the sponsor is aware of problem. It's usually a local issue. Would be disappointing perhaps if we were paying for these great views!

The webcams around the Gozo channel crossing are ashamedly very often faulty. If not one its another. The service is very disappointing.

Mgarr harbour was a tempest yesterday. A clip of the ferry crossing has gone viral.

A bit choppy today, or as the RN would say "A bit Harry Roughers".

Margaret, yes I noticed when I was on earlier that there was a ship headed to where Radiant was anchored yesterday, so I did some research and it did appear to be Lucky Lady.

Sorry Ann. I have only just seen your post. I did see a masted yacht when I was looking at Radiant earlier. But as Margaret said It was just outside the harbour and I didn't take note of it's name on marine traffic. Had a look around at what's where, but cannot find anything.

Ann, did you also notice the other one - a bit further to the left than where Radiant was moored - I think that one might be Lucky Lady. I can't remember seeing a yacht as large as Last Man Standing moored inside the harbour.

Carol, do you know what the larger yacht is with the blue bottom next to all the smaller ones? Is it Last Man Standing?

This will be the last time we will see Veendam in this area for some considerable time, as she will shortly be sailing over to the States, the Caribbean and then northern Europe - seems to be back in the Med next August.
