Hi Christine, I have e-mailed the hosts or sponsors of cams before and most times they are quite responsive. Try sending Gharb Local Council an e-mail and see if that helps.

Hi - I just wondered whether the Gharb Cameras are going to be fixed this year. Gerano Square is not as good as it used to be and the main Church has shifted around a little too much. What do others think. Can SkyCams contact the Gharb Council who are the sponsors?

Hello Christine, there is a camera of the interior of the "Collegiate Basilica Our Lady Of Visitation" church in Gharb but I believe there used to be one of the exterior of that church as well which must be offline now. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and everyone else enjoying this cam.

Jaqueline - maybe the Gharb Council can fix it early in the New Year. I've also noticed today that there is no Gharb Church camera. Anyway Merry Christmas to you and Happy New Year to everyone .

How right you are Christine ! The camera has moved ! Ive just googled ‘Pjazza Gerano Gharb’ and saw photographs of earlier versions of the Webcam view. Sdieri street clearly shown and not the disused electrical wire we now see hanging down. Lots of changes to the square these days

Hi Jacqueline - Are you meaning the house with the statue in the wall, as I was meaning the house on the other corner opposite the telephone box.

Hello Christine - The house on the corner is uninhabited and currently used by the owner for storage. Years ago it was a very busy shop selling groceries and animal feed.

I think the camera has shifted round as the view we have now is not as nice as when it was showing the road down towards Ta Pinu (Sdieri Street). I don't think the resident of the corner house would like hundreds of people seeing them in their kitchen when the light is on a night.

I saw seven cars on this square within a couple of minutes. Normally never happens here. At this rate they're gonna need traffic lights!

Very good camera, but I do sorely miss St,. Georges Square webcam. But Malta's cams are superb.
