Hi Derek, It's a shame about the graduations but better safe than sorry. When were you going to France? We are just waiting until Ryanair actually cancels our flight, there's about 8 weeks yet, but it doesn't look like it'll change for the better in that short time. The shop is still open, we still have loads of outstanding work to do, so we'll keep plodding along. I don't know what it's like in your area, but a lot of people, especially the young ones, seem to think this is quite "exciting", I have pointed out to one or two that when their grandparents are ill, or worse, will they still think the same. If people don't take this seriously we'll end up with the same measures as the continent. I'm just sick of the continual hand washing and wiping the flaming door handles etc, every time anyone comes in. Brian says he is becoming allergic to the smell of bleach! By the way, your idea of stockpiling seems a lot better than toilet rolls!

Hi Margaret, Grand daughter due home tomorrow, she will have to do her "finals " (Law Degree) from home, no Graduation Ceremony planned at this moment, bit of a bu....r. really, but we must all do our bit for all our safety.
Don't really get the fact that lots of people are stocking up on loo rolls, but I must admit to a little panic buying.....Red Wine.....got to be done....might as well be happy in current situation.. On a serious note, this is pretty scary, and my thought are with the human race, lets all pull through together. Much love.

Hi Derek, I've just seen your comment, I think this has been off-line everytime I've looked. Hope you are keeping safe in these very scary times. Has your grand daughter gone back home, most of the students have left Durham and are just working on line. Even lots of the Chinese are going home, China is now considered a safer option than here! Have you seen Ann anywhere???

Derek: Haha...I thought so!! Have you deliberately placed this metal "beam thing" in the way so it obstructs my view of the stage???? Are you wearing the yellow shorts this evening?

Derek & Ann, was that you two up on stage again???? Derek....loving the fetching white shorts! Ann, although I quite like the little pink tutu, I think I preferred the lime green one you wore last week!

You didn't miss me Derek...I'm here ! I'm waiting for the party to begin but it's 17:30 and there isn't one person visible on this cam at the moment. I guess I'm too early...the fun must begin when the sun goes down !
