Wonder what happened to the cam in St Mark's Square, it was brilliant to see the beautiful costumes at carnival time
Smallish sleek looking cruise liner Le Lyrial(French) heading out of the channel.
Aparently from next year cruise ships coming into the basin will be reduced by a third.Talks are going on..
there used to be three webcams of St. Marks Basin, now there are only two. The one that is missing had a much better view of the ships coming and going.

MSC Opera came in this morning with 2 tugs at the front, this has now become the norm since the accident.
02.06.19. Heard the MSC Opera cruise ship has had a collision today in the Venice harbour - breaking away from a tug and unable to slow down, colliding into a river boat. :(
Just watched MSC Opera and the Costa Delizioza winding their way through the narrow waterway. Both nice looking ships but don't know why Costa stick a funnel on that looks like a cigarette stub with no streamlining.
