Al, I actually hate the travelling side of going on holiday. If I could be beamed out of my house and into my hotel, I would be more than happy. Anyway enjoy your next trip. Where are you off to?

Hi al, have checked out homeaway. It appears to be more for rentals. I tend to stay in hotels. Prefer it being on my own. But thanks for the info. It's the flights that bump up the prices to the Canaries and Lanzarote seems to be more expensive than say Tenerife.

Wow, Al, you do get about. I agree with you, hate winter. Been very wet and windy the past couple days, though not especially cold. Would like to go to Lanzarote some time but very expensive for a solo traveller. So probably be back to Beni in September.

Hi Big Al. Thanks for that. It's a shame both the Marconi cams and the Cimbel cam are off. I suppose it's a good time to refurbish, after Christmas and new year and before Easter. How long are you in Beni for?
