Just back from another fantastic holiday here and last night booked to go back next year at the same time yes it has stags and hens but Benidorm is such a big place and they are mostly in the new town we only saw a couple and they where having fun with no trouble at all. We tend to go to the Tropical Bar, Rock and Roll House and discovered the Hotel Riviera nightclub if we want entertainment but mostly go to the old town for the best restaurants like the Two Palms. Not forgetting the amazing beaches and great walks up to the cross in the morning.

Looking forward to Friday when we fly over to Benidorm .
We have been almost every year at October half term for the past 7 years .
We dont go out at night so miss all the negative stuff that goes on later on .
We enjoy the beach , nice walk down the promenade , quiet couple of drinks in the afternoon and chilling on a balcony before Dinner in the evening . We like Benidorm because it remains alive all year round . W did go to the costa del sol one year in October but it felt really quiet and out of season .

I have been holidaying in Benidorm for years, maybe twice a year. I stay near or in the old town. It is more traditional and hasn't the attractions of the new town for the hens/stags types. I wouldn't consider staying that end of the resort. I feel safe walking around in the evening though am usually back to my hotel by about ten as I've been out and about all day.

Tricia Fleming, The sand sculptures i believe were removed by the local council, as for the rest of your negative comments please feel free to holiday in skegness, blackpool, margate etc, Benidorm is the marmite of holiday destinations love it or hate it, i happen to love it especially the rincon area the tropiacl bar and rock and roll bar are excellent.

I used to so love Benidorm, twice a year for 15 years, sorry to say that was my last time for a good few years, so much changes, stag and hen parties taking over, no more family holidays as its frightening to be walking the streets at night because of these loud drunken parties. The streets are filthy no one bothering to wash them, the stink when you walk along in the mornings is horrendous. The beach was always very welcoming, beautiful sand sculptures to look at!!!now they have all gone. A few good bars have also closed or new owners have taken over and they are not the same. So sad to see this place getting ruined by large parties of drunken people.
