Never mind. The blocks have gone.
A pity nobody replied to my question below.

18feb19--San Marino is a microstate completely surrounded by Italy. Just over 24 sq mi (61 km2), with a population of 34,000. Its capital is the City of San Marino and its largest settlement is Dogana. San Marino has the smallest population of all the members of the Council of Europe. The country derives its name literally from Saint Marinus, a stonemason originating from the Roman colony on the island of Rab. EnJoy EnJoy

Good morning to the beautiful San Merino, sadly you are shrouded in mist today so not so much of a view. I remember visiting here and having my passport stamped in a small office for a fee. It was a nice momento to have of a really lovely visit. The changing of the guards was very special. Thank you to the hosts and to Skyline.

It's low cloud, at this time of year. San Marino is 740 meters high and very close to the sea, so on a humid morning clouds can form on top of it. Very spectacular, when viewed from down below.

Fog like today? You can only just see the wall on the right hand side.

This is a beautiful view. This is what we supposed to see when on the high school road trip back in 2004, but we were welcomed with such a nasty fog, that we barely found a pastry to seat in.
So, thank you Skyline and Grandhotel San Marino for giving us this view, I actually don't have to come back :)

I love San Marino. Memory: when you go up to the castle two pages have small souvenir shops. Each sells fine liqueurs and everyone will be served with wellcome drink. Is it worth it to go more than once! ;)
    Avanti San Marino!
