J.Funny, hi and Happy Christmas! Loving the snowy cams, but also I keep peeping at the beaches, Grenada, Zanzibar and Maldives. Keep safe in Western USA, as we are in central England. We just stay at home, and wave through windows, can’t catch anything then! I’ll keep looking for you around Skyline, what a joy it’s been this year.

23:37 December 13, 2020 - Hi again Izzy. It is so nice to visit back and forth with you on various Skyline cams! Well, right now there are 8 people including me watching/checking in on a dark screen just before midnight Italy time. Out of almost 2.7 million hits (total clicks onto the cam since it went online some years ago), that is not very many watching or just taking a peek. Okay, now to the snow on the lens situation: when I looked yesterday during daylight (Italy time), the snow was still there (below freezing), but I could see tiny bits of blue sky peeking through. That camera is at a ski chair lift, and since there's no skiing currently, probably due to COVID-19 reasons, that is why the camera lens has not been removed of the snow; no one is there. I miss watching the 7-8 chair lift workers arriving for work just before 8:00 a.m. (Italy time) everyday. Loved watching them walk down the slope to work. They were always right on time. Hope that answers your questions. P.S. Canazei is up over the slope and down the backside. Great Skyline cams there. I love the Dolomite mountains (the Italian Alps - a tremendous amount of history there). Bye for now Izzy.....stay in touch, okay?

J.Funny, good to see you again! Well why are they watching? I wonder how the watching figures are worked out. Some lovely snowy scenes throughout the Alps.

11:37 December 9, 2020 - Hi Izzy........It is snow covering the camera lens (and 132 people are watching). And since it is below freezing, the snow has not melted yet. Be patient, you will see a gorgeous view. Keep checking in.

Monday 08.08. Is it just me, or are there 89 other people online watching a mottled blurred screen?

07:41 October 27, 2020 - Wonderful.....lots and lots of snow now. I sincerely hope that the COVID-19 virus does not stop the 2020/2021 ski season opening. This is a wonderful camera to watch many dozens of skiers skiing down every part of these Belvedere and Maria slopes at Pordoi Pass. Amazing to watch even though I am not a skier myself. By the way, the town of Canazei is over and down the back side of these slopes.

J.Funny, are you into skiing I wonder. I’m more of a warmer climate fan myself, but this is a beautiful cam view.

07:48 March 13, 2020 - For a few days now the country of Italy is completely shutdown due to the severity of the Coronavirus COVID-19. It is sad to see that skiing has also been suspended. The virus has spread to all continents worldwide except Antarctica. We will miss seeing the skiers at Pordoi Pass. Such a wonderful Skyline webcam.

07:55 December 12, 2019 - Workers have just approached the ski lift building. I submitted photos. I commented about them on Friday, May 24, 2019. Today, December 12, I am hoping all of the skiers have a great ski season. And thank you workers for your great work. Hopefully, I will be seeing you daily walking to work. Greetings!!

Hello everyone! In northern Italy it is winter after many days of snow! Unfortunately this time causes very serious problems with closed roads and many trees falling. But everything will pass. I can't wait to spend a wonderful Christmas here!
