07:01 Friday, May 24, 2019 (Italy time) - Greetings from the west coast of the USA. I appreciate this webcam very much; my favorite. Enjoy watching the many skilled skiers. And enjoy watching the 6 - 8 workers (depending on the day) walking to work down the slope everyday. Most of them to the ski lift building. And two of them split off to a building to the right and out of camera range. You can almost set your clock as to when all of them come into camera view up on the slope each morning. Hi guys!! I know you are not there now in May (spring), but I will catch up with you during the fall/winter/early spring 2019/2020 ski season. Until then, I will watch the green slope and marmots. Thank you Arabba Dolomites Fodom for hosting the webcam. Please keep the camera on during the off season. Thanks much.
Sunday, May 19, 2019 - Greetings Daddyfixit. The reason there are no downhill skiers is because the 2018/2019 winter ski season is officially over - ended in April.
snow...no skiers ?
Most of the ski slopes have these snow cannons going at the mo, they must have guests booked in pretty soon and no snow as yet.
Snow making machines at work. I guessed they're not waiting for mother nature to do her thing.
A piece of heavy equipment digging on the mountain side. My guess: he's looking for snow.

Ja,ja, zalig zijn de simpelen van geest!
Strapping boards on your feet, getting hauled to the top of a mountain, then sliding back down. You earthlings are a curious lot :-)
Fantastic scenery the clouds whizzing past the mountain I could watch all day!
