West End Beach - Roatán live cam

A paradise for scuba diving enthusiasts in the Caribbean Sea

West End Beach - Roatán

Stunningly set in an exotic natural paradise in the Bay Island, Honduras, West End is a dream for scuba diving enthusiasts loving tropical locations; the stunning coral reef, the second largest of the world, is an irresistible mecca for people from all over the world, wonderful bottom habitats teeming with a variety of coloured fishes, deep-sea corals and sponges, marine plants and other underwater wonders only a short distance from shore; it will not be so difficult to meet rare marine species while diving or snorkeling and enjoying the extraordinary riches of this underwater life.

The largest isle is Roatán including some smaller isles and villages, among these it is the lively West End that, as its name suggests, is just situated at the western end of the Roatán island; it is among the most visited locations of the island and world-famous for its snorkeling and diving centers as well as for its rich tourists offer including recreational activities, comfortable accommodations, quality restaurants and cafès all just a few steps away from the powder white beach of the Caribbean; West End is really a great place with magnificent views that leave everybody speechless, the rich greenery consisting in beautiful palm trees along the peaceful and pristine blue-turquoise sea and its extraordinary contrast of tradition and modernity, fun and tranquillity, crowded places and a more intimate atmosphere make it, if possible, even more attractive.

Diving here is a must, everything is friendly and well organized with all-inclusive scuba diving packages including high quality equipment rental, certified multi-level courses, open-water diving and even night diving, all guided by an instructor for an unforgettable 'scuba diving experience'; the most curious guests will have a number of opportunities to explore a bit more of West End surroundings, discover all the hidden places and so see the island as it really is, this by taking part in shore excursions or mini cruise and sailing tours, as an alternative it will be so exciting an horse-back riding or a walk while enjoying the warm notes of the Latin music or its magnificent evening sunsets, among the most admired in the world.

So sad to see this beautiful place so devoid of people during this COVID event. I feel for my beach peeps, I know they will be hurting. Much LOVE Roatan. I will be back as soon as permissible.

Perhaps positioning the cam more to the left would provide better subject matter.

Was a nice cam now it is out of focus, and the wide-angle is not that interesting.

Oh, also here a new cam, but wide angle ist not the best solution. People want to see especial WED diving base with catwalk and not the strange base on the left or the trash can on the right.

Can’t wait to see my island again. Rain or shine it beats the hustle and bustle of everyday work. Retiring to Roatan sooner than later.
