Aegiali Beach - Amorgos

Amorgos, the island of the endles blue, located on the southeastern edge of the Cyclades, between Naxos the small Cyclades and Astipalea. It is the natural passage, the bridge of the Cyclades to the Dodecanese. Much of the coast is very rocky and ends abruptly at the sea. It has an elongated shape. Amorgos was one of the most important centers of the Cycladic civilization (3rd millennium BC):

It has two natural ports, Katapola at its center and Aegiali at the north. Aegiali is a charming cove with a beautiful sandy beach, various shops, restaurants and nightclubs.

The aegialis hotel and Spa, is the only 5 star hotel in Amorgos with minimalist and modern design, comfort and exceptional service. All rooms offer spectacular views of the sea and the beach of Aegiali. Ideal for relaxation and wellness getaways, Aegialis Hotel & Spa, offers amazing experiences throughout the year on the island of Amorgos. Poppy this is quite a hilly/cliffy island but Nisouki a small island off the west coast has nice beaches.

Hi James, just found out the following:- Amorgos has no airport but you can either fly to Athens and take a ship from the port of Piraeus. Or you can book a flight to Santorini or Mykonos and connect with a ferry to Amorgos. The third alternative is to fly to Naxos via Athens and take a ferry. Amorgos seems to be a very quiet small island but does look extremely inviting!
