Good to see a bit more power in the water jets, used to like seeing them on the hour when synchronised to the music, would reach up 5/6 feet, 4pm visit then into Marks & Sparks for tea & scones.

Yes the spouts were random. At noon they danced to music.

Only available today, 12/05/20 Time-lapse event of the plant displays being dismantled...
Came apart much quicker than when being installed, looks like a couple of jets blocked on the water feature bottom left.
This time of year a few years ago I remember walking through the square on a day visit on a cruise around the Med, do I remember the jets having a random pattern to them?
Must return sometime soon, really enjoyed the welcoming felling of the locals.

Most large public events that have used flower arrangements let the local people take the flowers home after the event has closed. The plants still have some life in them, so may as well let people get the pleasure of them in their own homes. And it helps get the sites cleared faster.

Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers around the world. Seems like people are helping themselves to the flowers. Is this done every year after the festival?

Superb and glad I've come across this 2nd camera, the other I have saved on my browser favourites bar. having won awards for floral displays with work in the UK, I appreciate the planning and growing of plants to result in this sort of display. Hopefully our Garden centres in the UK will open soon, getting a bit late to plant up for this year... Keep safe...

I agree Texan1 - we do need to see this in these uncertain times. Life is tough but then so are we - so the saying goes. Seriously, our numbers are climbing and things are very worrying. Stay safe everyone from South Africa x
