Saw the man with the donkey again.
Not only am I seeing people but just seen someone walking a donkey.
Temperatures we bundle up when it gets super cold our winter morning average temp is 20* spring/Summer its 40*
Most of the residents are used to driving in the snow the only time it really affects us is the years we get over a foot of snow. (1997,2004,2007 we averages 3 ft of snow these years which we ended up flooded when it melted as well) When that happens everyone usually stays put at home but its not every year thing. Most people up here have 4x4 or All wheel drive vehicles
Wildcat we've had temps of around 8c (46f) here this last week but the gulf stream is about to move down so colder air is coming so should see temps 0f around 4c (39f). The main street does look nice with all the snow, if we get half that amount the country grinds to a halt. Does it ever snow that badly that if affects people's lives or business.
@johnny Yea we are expecting a few storms this weekend that are going to leave a few inches of Snow... The highs have been about 40-ish Degree Fahrenheit
Snow again, its cold here but not that cold. Not a fan of Ice/snow as I have zero ability to stay on my feet, We don't really get much winter snow in the UK anymore.
I have seen people and a couple walking a dog.
the building that is camera is attached to is Red dogs saloon. across the street is 2 bars, and a coffee house.
Happy New Year to you all as well!!!
Susan its a small town this is the main street its usually quiet most traffic is a tourist. But it is amazing. it is not mostly pubs. it is about 6 pubs the rest of the stores are boutiques of different types. it's very cool! if yall ever have a chance to visit I would say do it but make it a few days 1-2 days for VC and the rest for lake Tahoe and reno or Carson (our state's capital).
Susan this is the main drag and they are nearly all pubs the way the camera is facing
This must be a quiet part of town as you do not see many people around
Merry Christmas Wildcat all the best for the New Yea
We call them Manufactured homes Here, there are none in Virginia City, But in surrounding towns.. yes there is they are affordable for a lot of limited income families. They are year-round just like any other home..
Hi Wildcat many thanks for getting back to me with the answers, I also googled mapped it, and I noticed that there are a lot of big static homes in the area and some very big houses as well, can they live in the static homes all the year round as in the UK they can only live in them for 10 months of the year and then have to leave them for 2 months
