William Clarke, I've been reading about the proposed ferry service for some time now. I can't work out where it will run from because every article I have seen says something different. The last article said that it would run from beside the dive centre where the underwater cam used to be, that would put it centre-right at the top of the bay. It will run from Sliema to Balluta and end up in Comino. A lot of angry locals. It'll be interesting to see it, I'll be at the Plaza Regency with my wife next July, we were married in Valletta July 8th 2011 so back for our 10th anniversary.
    Regards ..... Gary.

I see a ferry service is to be introduced from Balluta Bay/Sliema Ferries , it has upset the enviromental lobby and local people who like to swim in the area of the little man made beach, the hop on/off service in the area of the water polo club, just out of picture far left. If still going, will have to judge next year we have decide to miss in Sept. Stay safe.

I should have been sitting at Dixies with my wife 2nd & 3rd week of June, enjoying a pint of Cisk and a pea cake or two ...... Will be a long wait 'till next year. Can just see Paul's Seabreeze in the background as well.

Lovely quiet sunny day, bit different from the mass gathering on the beach last night.

Thanks to It-Torri for the two cameras back, I wonder is there a carpark underground the play area as previously mentioned on here.? Should have been back in April & Sept for the Air show, love to sit in the gardens by Dixies with a good book, stay safe folks.

Yes, nice sharp picture, just back from two weeks in Exiles Bay, some windy nights. Read in the Times that car park idea would be underground, perhaps the children will have their play area back on top when finished, well used area at present.

A multi-story car park on the playground? I used to play on a previous incarnation of the playground in the sixties. That is scandalous.
