Hi MandyP - I find that my viewing changes. For instance, I used to watch the Procida cam for hours on end. It was just great to see all the different ferries and people coming and going. But now I guess they are on winter schedule and it is not so busy or interesting. I guess when the ski season starts, I will spend time waching those cams. But I do love the fish video. I also need the beaches in the Maldives and Virgin Isles - sitting in England with the rain and wind crashing down and it is miserable out, it is nice to visit somewhere where the sun is out and just dream of being there - rather than here in this weather. It cheers me up.

Hi JustJames. I don't go to the fish camera much. I did take a few but I have never seen a shark. Your pictures are good. It was a shame they put the lorry to spoil the view at Iceland. I would have thought watching it being made would encourage people to watch the final thing. I don't go to the Americas camera much except the USA and Peru to watch the alpacas and Ecuador to see the tortoises, Labrador and occasional cow! I like the one in Turkey where they have hand-gliding and the Maldives. I mostly stay in Europe for the beaches. Madrid Tio Pepe was very lively on Saturday night with all the dozens of police with their curfew. Seems like they are filming in Iceland again but behind the hill so we still cannot watch.

MandyP - The camera I spend most time on is the underwater Maldives cam. I just love watching the fish - and the sharks when they are about. (I got some good shots over the last hour or so) I like this camera and, as you say, the one in the Virgin Islands. I find it spooky and eerie to look at the cams in Rome after midnight and see okaces devoid if people. I saw your comment about filming in Iceland and got there a bit late - all I saw was a big truck in front of the camera.

JustJames. Just checked I don't think I have ever taken a picture at your favourite U S Virgin island. I don't usually go to China or Bangkok or Dubai either.

JustJames. You are right, I have too much time on my hands when I'm not at work. There must be places I haven't been to yet. The strange thing is that I don't even notice the sky at home with sunrises and sunsets! with the clocks going back it is usually too early to get sunrise photos in Greece now. I love watching the sun, join and clouds which change colour all the time. Also with only premium members being able to take them I do it for them too.

MandyP - I know this has negative connotations, but you do get around!
But all is good - I have seen the lovely photos you take on your getting around. (I must find a cam you haven't been to before me. Does one exist?)

JustJames. Thanks. I am chasing the sunsets in Greece, then Italy and then Spain at the moment. I was taking sunrise pictures in Iceland this morning and also sunset pictures in Australia at the same time. Little things like that keep me happy!

MandyP - Damn, I missed it. But I did have a look at the photos to see exactly what I missed. Your shot, taken on 15/10, the one with the couple walking along the bach and the fabulous sunset behind them, absolutely nailed it. Thank you.

I was thinking the same thing, MandyP. We are living vicariously and it would be really good to hear the sounds as well. But at least we have the visuals. My other beach camera -the Virgin Islands - is off line, and this is now getting too dark. So I will have to amuse myself with other views.

JustJames. I agree. It looks like a musician/singer is performing too but it is a shame we haven't got audio for this site.

18:45 MandyP - It's too dark now. I just saw a couple being led to their table. They stopped a couple of times so a member of staff could take their photo. I am sure she had on a long, black frock but the image is so grainy it is really difficult to see any detail. It must be incredibly romantic. What a setting. Some lovely memories will be made here tonight.

JustJames They are making the beach look really pretty with the lights. dining in the sunset. Better than in the UK, wet and windy.
