03:15 December 24, 2020 - Greetings Martyn Forster. I agree that we will not see Oscar and Bianca this winter season. There seems not to be a ski season in Italy right now, and likely due to the COVID-19, and maybe the new strain too. This Marmolada cam and the Passo Padon cam are both attached to the same building and pointed in opposite directions.....hosted by Rifugio Padon. Both cams were recently turned off, but thankfully they are both back on. And there has been a small amount of snow work around the rifugio. So workers have been there even if it to just make sure that everything is all right.....but not opening for business. On the Pordoi Pass cam at a major Italian chair lift and ski slopes it is not open for business either. Martyn, please stay safe and healthy!

New strain Covid19+ means Oscar and Bianca might not be coming out soon, nor are we. Take care, everyone!

08:45 October 27, 2020 - Wonderful.....lots and lots of snow now. I sincerely hope that the COVID-19 virus does not stop the 2020/2021 ski season opening. There is dense fog today obstructing the view of Marmolada.

Could it be that Oscar and Bianca are self-isolating, as we have been for over 6 months now? NW of UK is not a good place to be right now!

11:36 October 4, 2020 - Some snow here at Rifugio Padon, but Marmolada is fogged-in. Hi PMM, nice to hear from you too. I have been reading your comments here and there around the cams. I do not have Premium, so I think commenting for those folks (me) with accounts prior to Premium (we were grandfathered-in) will probably be disappearing soon. No 'More' button nor camera icon. What was promised us has and is being taken away. But I will continue watching. COVID-19 is a nightmare here in the USA and around the world. I am fine, and I hope you are also. I will keep watching for you, PMM. Ta ta for now.

08:43 September 26, 2020 - A beautiful blanket of snow. And grass is still showing through it. Won't be long till Oscar and Bianca will be returning! I wonder what they will be wearing this winter......hmmm.

Thur 18 Jun. J Funny. Do forgive me for not responding! How rude of me! ;) well, who’d have thought what was about to happen to the world all those months ago. Hope you have kept well. My first visit to Skyline cams yesterday and today just looking round my favourite ones. Life has continued and a new life came into our family at the start of the year. So blessed. Stay safe !

09:57 April 12,020 - Well, it is Spring and Oscar and Bianca are in meltdown mode. See you next winter, Oscar and Bianca! Marmolada is still completely under a layer of snow. And thank you Rifugio Padon, our great webcam host.

Hi J Funny thanks for your post, poor Oscar and Bianca they do look like their both in a sorry state at the moment. It's so sad looking at the cam and no people enjoying themselves, hopefully it won't be too long before everything's back to normal again.

04:26 March 11, 2020 - Hi Rita, hey it is o.k. about not getting back to me sooner.......I just now got on the cam for the first time today (morning Italy time), (March 10, it is evening in my time zone right now). It is pitch dark here and both of Oscar's eyes are out. Here is something else pretty funny after I wrote you my comment on March 9. I watched the dark screen for a while looking at Oscar's one remaining lit up eye. Poof!!!, then if went out. At least my eyes are on!!.....yes, both of them!!

Yes, J Funny, you can enjoy a laugh anytime by running 'time-lapse' feature and at 1.23s you can see Oscar's one eye loses power. I agree that Bianca needs a 'lady hat' - equal rights etc..

04:34 March 9, 2020 - Rita, Rita, RITA!!!.....I just came on the cam during my mid evening in my time zone, and I immediately started belly laughing!! It is dark there at Rifugio Padon (cam host high up on a mountain across from Marmolada) at Passo Padon, and all I saw was ONE eye glowing......and yes Rita, It is Oscar's. But I have never seen one of his eyes burnt out; this is so funny, I can't stand it, it is so funny! It was my first belly laugh of the day and I am so glad to have shared this moment with you. You are truly special. I am not laughing right now, but I am smiling! Now I wait till daylight. Thanks for writing.

Hi J Funny we meet again in another beautiful part of the world thanks to skyline. I am assuming that that is Oscars eyes lit up that I can see.
