Thanks Allan . I stayed in Bardolino and went on the Italia a couple of times but went on the Zanardelli just the once on a lake tour combined with coach. The paddlers on Garda are no longer steam driven but I think are diesel electric. The paddles can turn separately so makes the ships very manouvrable and don't need to tie up at piers.

Noticed Zanardelli arriving in Riva from Torbole this morning around 10.45 am UK time. Lovely old steamer. Been on it a few times!

Yeah! Finally spotted Paddle ship Zanardelli. Left Riva 1500 UK time and caught it going into Torbole about 1520. Sorry I'm a bit of a paddle ship fanatic and our own Paddle steamer Waverley in Scotland needs new boilers so am getting a fix elsewhere till she hopefully returns to operation next year!

I agree James McIntosh... there are quite a few "nearby webcams" missing that are much closer than the ones shown

I'm trying to spot the paddle ship Zanardelli leaving Riva but the ferry schedules don't specify which boats do what. Thought the Zanardelli would leave Riva at 1400 but it was just an ordinary passenger boat. Trying to see the Italia down near Bardolino but no joy.

They’re probably using it as a security cam too!

I beg you to return the camera to the previous viewing angle. Lake Garda deserves it. to look at him. not on boats and a crane.

I agree Wes George... the new angle also "blows out" (exposure) the actual nice view. The huge crane arm thing in the left corner is also very distracting and ugly to see. The old view had the top line of boats, but still the gorgeous view of the lake and mountains as well. It is such a beautiful view and I miss this place so much, but the new camera angle sucks (sorry). We still appreciate the webcam and its sponsors, but please please please move the camera back to it's old position and PLEASE add sound (especially for the annual Notte di Fiaba). Thank you

Please move the camera back to where it was, who needs to see the boats ?? Also please buy an HD camera as this is a truly stunning view which deserves the best quality.
