@Steve Bolton Of course the English can get away with flying St George flags. There is no law against it and if there was there would be a lot of prosecutions during this World Cup.
1jul18--Phil, 173 years and out of business. Painful. Thank you for the input.
Sad News...The store on the corner to the right is closing down..House of Fraser ,but still called Howells by the people of Cardiff...1845-2018 is a fair long time
Gracias Cardiff, por traer al mundo a Gareth Bale.¡¡¡¡¡ un madridista¡¡¡

13mar18--St. Mary Street from the Sandringham Hotel is looking good. The snows don't last long. Less than three weeks till Easter.
Steve the flags do look lovely, yes England should have some St. George flags or some Union flags as not enough are flown.
Flags!! How lovely to see the Welsh being patriotic.I wonder if us English could get away with putting loads of st George flags down a high st in England. I doubt it very much :(
Taking into account that Cardiff usually has a mild winterless climate, this is a rare image, indeed. Probably the welsh are not quite used to a real winter weather. Greetings from Romania.
My sympathy to everyone trying to live their lives as the snow interferes, but it sure is pretty to look at!
well, depend on your clothing... they measured -42 some places here in Norway couple days ago. LOL. But I admit it's special to see british streets like this
" -3 isn't cold. ". Really. Must be my imagination then !
