The time lapse for yesterday shows how the diggers are moved off the island. Transporter ships similar to the troop carriers they used in the beach landings in WW2
Frank I look forward to the Twin Otters returning .Thanks
I would say when the Tourists are allowed back on the Maldives, you will see the Twin Otters ( Sea Planes) landing and taking off.
Seems that some of the Maldive resorts have been 'shoring' up their beaches, some bringing in more sand. On the cams in Italy, almost all their beaches are being rehabbed. Italy's beaches are in full swing. Hopefully, the Maldives will follow in time. And, the tourists will be allowed to return.
Big digger right in front of the camera.
Peter Yes! I did see a few on other cam.......but they were far out and that was months ago.
Used to be a few sea planes around this time of years. 23/06
they must have read your comment because they packed up straight away lol
No lockdown here then ? game of football going on.
Annamarie the baby one growing in the sand? Ive been watching it for a few months because it was in the middle of the sun loungers I didn't think it stood a chance but its got the whole beach to its self now!
Love the small little tree
Maldives has 19 cases of the virus and 13 have recovered so I guess it is safe to assume the restrictions have lifted some.
Loads of people playing frisbee games.
Hi Chris, hope you are safe and well, whatever "lace" you are in !
What a lace to isolate..
