That noise is the wind, not the volcano. It gets pretty windy at this spot, and video camera microphones always seem to pick up the wind noise better than any other sounds.

Vinno I wish we could get Kilauea on Skyline I think it would be to hot.
I want to look at the Pacific Rim to see what is happening there. NZ are puffing but stable.

I see I was not signed it when I recommended the other volcano.
I just put Etna on the 24 hour lap It was amazing. The whole bowl went on fire, Very Impressive. There were people up on the walk way I think they ran off they disappeared quick then a man came back When that blew it must have been so noisy I went back to look when the flames had subsided it was a big crater. The snow on the other peak was brown it looked like a meringue topping as it gets too hot, I know about that.

That video of Kilauea is great. It's a pity there are no live video webcams on Kilauea. Skyline should put one there!

LC: The noise is the wind. It's always windy here. I have never heard any volcano noises from this camera. You might hear explosions from the volcano during a big eruption, but not with normal activity as is happening now.

I have what's probably a silly question. Is the constant background roaring I hear the wind, the volcano, or a combination of both?

Camera not working? It's 21:31 & it is pitch black. The mountain is spewing fire & lava & we should be able to see it!

Good photo Ray, I have been studying in ancient times the people thought aliens lived in the mountains and the mountains were made of gold, which your picture makes it look like it is tin todays times. The Gods who lived there had gold coloured skin and travelled in space ships it was a well known fact back in the day.

Etna erupting lava right now, with regular explosions known as Strombolian activity. Looks like a lava flow has made its way down to the left of the crater.
