Well it looks like this is the place to go if you want to wander round with idiots who do not know there is a lockdown or a virus- many people, in tight groups, this evening wandering around the square like little rats-

Lois, hi. I went back over all the things I wanted to do and see-did almost all but very rushed. This is a place to just wander and, yes-get lost. I did. I would say 5 days would do it. 1 full-and I mean full-day just for the castle complex alone. It is the most magical city I have ever visited. As this was my first trip to Europe-every day was something out of a dream. If driving, say a lot of Hail Mary's and get a good map. Traffic is impossible. Take time to go out at night for awesome photos and at sunrise-wonderful and peaceful time at the Charles Bridge. My hotel was Palac U Kocku in Old Town and they have the most wonderful bar/restaurant attached with sidewalk café. Always crowded and lively. The best breakfast selection -included- I got on the whole trip-4 weeks. 5 minute walk to the square and Charles Bridge. enjoy!!

Just got back to the USA and several days in Prague. First time there and it was not enough time-need at least a week. I stayed in Old Town and the hotel location was perfect. Way too many tourists and rude at times. However, the people who live and work there were amazing and could not have been more helpful. It still seems like a dream!

Back home to UK, Prague is superb and the architecture magnificent. We were lucky to be in town square yesterday when a magnificent military display took place, it was fantastic. The Castle district is awesome.
My memories of Prague will last a long time I hope to come back.
