Deborah, hope it's not too late. Praga mater urbium, my hometown. My love, my life. You mentioned the castle, worth a day, if you want to see some, I'll throw some points in: St Vitus Cathedral and it's treasures, the astronomical clock, the old market square, Charles bridge (sure), the Jewish Ghetto, the "Golden Lane" (Zlatá ulička in Czech) where once among some wizards Kafka had a house, visit Malá Strana and drink a locally brewed Beer :-), if you happen to need more, just tell me. Also, there's a thing you absolutely can NOT avoid in Praha: guided tour groups. The City tends to be very very crowded with them.
Scott-I will be there for the first time this fall-any suggestions? I am staying in Old Town and have a day set aside for the Castle. Look to just wander!
See you in 2 Weeks (*_*)
Just got back and all I can say is WOW!!! It was fantastic, this is a must see destination!!!
I love these pictures of Prague. In the late 1800's my great grandparents emigrated from what was thenBohemia to the U.S. I have often wondered if I still have relatives in the Prague area.
Please add more live cameras in Prague, until now we have only two and it's not enough! It's a best place in the world!!!
Museum of Medieval Torture Instruments sponsoring. I could have sworn it was housed in my high school when I was there. Hmmm.

My Favorite city, love this view and I can't say how many times I have crossed this bridge. Need to go back
2 bribes and grooms having their photo taken. looks like you can get married early in prague... it is only 7.30 AM
How good! this is beautiful! although I live thousands of kilometers away, I have met in a tram that circulates online and it is wonderful, because I can say, that I know Prague virtually.
Kirby, I did, too!
I stayed @ Hotel Paris and crossed the Charles Bridge!
Most people think winter is the most dangerous time of the year, where in fact it is really spring. It is when all the buds are shooting!
While watching the snowfall here, yesterday, you could still see the far bank across the river and beyond. It was interesting seeing the effect of urban-warming when comparing the view from the airport, which is just a few miles north of the city, where you could hardly see the runway it was snowing so hard.
Spring came to Prague as well, with snow. :)3/6/18 07.30
