La Gomera is well worth a visit and the whistling language is something you must listen to

Never been Steve. Nearly got to La Gomera once but weather turned nasty so we cancelled. BTW, La Gomera is just visible now, as I write 18/6, 16.00, on the Playa de Troya webcam. So it is still there!!;-)

When was la palma moved? It's always at the top left hand corner of this shot. I've sat on plenty of hotel balconies on the west coast to know which island it is

Hi Ned. You can see La Gomera from Christianos, La Troya and Los G. Las Palmas is out of sight over the cliffs on the right

Definitely NOT La Gomera! Look at the Playa de Troya webcam and sometimes a little of La Gomera is just visible. In fact, we all ought to ask Skyline to move that camera up a bit! :-)

We have stayed many times at Los Gigantes and were always told it was La Gomera
