It looks different this year! Instead of the crowns from last year it looks like an igloo is coming? lol I get more excited about watching for the Christmas decorations and lights on the webcam than I do about my hometown!

    Hi Sherry
Many thanks for the info. Have spent many happy times in Madrid both in the late Spring and early December. All the decs had been put in place by then so not a clue when they were actually set up. All looked wonderful though. Xmas stalls everywhere. Magical. Love the place.

Bryan, I do not know where I got this information, or even if it is accurate, but I have a note in my phone calendar to tune into the webcam on November 29, as that is the official lighting date for the Christmas lights. Take it for what it's worth, because as I said - who knows where I got the info. lol Worth checking, though, right? :)

Corrine Happy Easter: apparently 'they wear hoods in a tradition that dates back to the 15th Century and allows sinners to repent without being identified'

What happened to the other two cameras? Last year there were three (all at different places in town).

I just looked at the time lapse of Puerta de Jerez and some processions passed through there yesterday.
