John - in complete agreement. I went into the town centre today and it was real depressing. Most shops open but not many people about at all.

John - I'm lost for words as well as words don't exist to describe or convey how I feel witnessing my adopted home town in this state. As can be seen on the promenade cam, it's a very busy Saturday night but whenever I am outdoors now, all I can sense and feel is tension and gloom. I guess its pretty much the same everywhere now. Sad times. A very dark year.
that strange loulou al ring my brother when he finishes work & see if i can find out what's going on

Watch Blackpool tower go through its sequence of lights. Like a giant Christmas tree. 12/10/20
At least there'll be no waste of petrol on a Sat night when the illuminations are on. The traffic doesn't move,
Dave Harris - I never noticed the red camera missing. That’s a shame really. But glad we still have the time lapse.
@'005'... Sorry to hear about the last few months, but a good dose of Fylde Coast air will do wonders, luckily not far from the green and windmill in Leafy Lytham. Been on here for a few years and yes I have captured photos, BUT the website has just dropped that option for standard members, no longer the red camera icon bottom right hand corner. Maybe a paid up subscriber might be able to help out? Only way is to go full screen and do screen capture, but that doesn't put in the online photo albums.
Hang on in there user00545748, we are with you friend.
Hi all, first time commenting. Its been a tough year for me, well, tough year for all of us. My mother passed away and then the black death descended on us. The only thing that has kept me sane is looking at this webcam and reminding myself, I will soon be there, with my best friend Harry (4 year old Jack Russell). We are coming up on the 9th Nov, stopping at St. Annes....but we will be coming along and soaking up the atmosphere.....Just a quick question, has anyone on here recorded footage from the webcam?
Big thumbs up
My Word first time ever the Pubs shut hope all is well with them
