    Sad news about having to quarantine for 2 weeks upon returning from Spain, Ballierics and Canary Islands. That will put a stop to any increase in tourism from the UK.
    Such a shame :(

    Not just the white van that hasn’t moved for months but also the two cars, one either side. Probably hire vehicles waiting for tourists. Wouldn’t want to be the first person to take one out.

    Three months now since the white van under the lamp post has moved, hope it has a strong battery. Evening all, been quiet here. Hope everyone has a chance to visit the Island this year.

    Well I have to say that Jet2 were as good as their word. 100% refunded into my bank account today Can't be bad, eh?

    I was cancelled for next tuesday so offered voucher from Ryanair which i declined. Hotel was booked online and for next September with no deposit so cancelled both. Maybe next year.

    I had a call from Jet2 on Sunday. They offered me a voucher, which I declined, then offered to rebook me for the same time next year, but as the price had increased by over £200 and they were not prepared to match it like for like, I again declined. They have now arranged a 100% refund, and once it's in the bank I will be looking for a deal for 2021. They told me that I would have my refund in 7-10 days, so fingers crossed!

    @Russell Gratton. Just out of interest. Did you get your refund within 28 days as I'm still waiting after 6 weeks and unable to contact anyone.

    @Colin James, I also love Lanzarote, but am now pretty confidant that I will not be taking my holiday there in 2020. The way things our, it would seem more likely that I am looking at rebooking for next spring.

    Russell Gratton. I haven't cancelled. I enquired with et2, and they said that no instructions have been received from HM Gov covering more than 2 weeks ahead so far. I am waiting for et2 to make the first move, as I would be quite happy to move it to 2021.

    Well Jim Rafferty, if you had only waited, there is a good chance that holidays towards the end of May will be back on, and you get a 100% refund if Jet 2 cancel it, if you cancel it, you are bound by their terms and conditions, , virtually lose everything you have paid, no ifs, no buts, Wife and Daughter due to go tomorrow (23rd) Jet2 Cancelled Thursday (19th) Full refund within 28 days! sorry, your fault, you cancelled

    It looks like we will not be going to Lanzarote in May as planned. I am even having problems securing a refund from Jet2, as they are arguing that our self-isolation is only advisory!.
