3 Goats grazing on the beach today
Lucky person swimming in the bay.
Wishing we were on this beach now :(
I wish we were there now :(
I've got friend's going to Arillas just north of here in June which they do most years. Big disappointment if they can't go.
We are at home in the UK just admiring this view and looking forward to when we can return. We have a holiday booked for mid May but we are expecting that not to happen clearly. Hope we can visit later in the summer once this virus passes.
How i wish to be here.......
I've just read on the UK Govn advice page that restaurants, beach bars, schools, cinemas gatherings and anything where people gather, have been closed for 2 weeks other than supermarkets, pharmacies which will stay open but all under review as time goes on, also no sail boats, ferries or cruises are allowed to moor so I'd say Corfu will probably be quiet for a while now. Not a bad thing if it helps the people and Island from infection and I'm happy to stay home to safe guard them and us but do worry about how people there will cope as its been hard as it is for them for a few years. Its disappointing and theres not much we can do other than follow Greek and WHO advice. Stay well all
I am so disappointed that our planned trips to Corfu and other islands will not, in all probability, go ahead. However, hopefully, next year it will be ok, so in the meantime it wi l be skyline webcams all the way!
Looks lovely this Friday morning, people on the beach in shorts and paddling. Wish I was there instead of here but concerned if we will be allowed in June if CV19 takes a heavier toll but I'd rather not go if it means protecting others if the advice is everyone stay home :(
I love Greece,lovely people,been many times..
Lovely scene with sun, clear blue sea. A family in shorts on the beach and a cat watching the family.
Such a beautiful spot, too bad the beach wasn't a bit wider, more to enjoy. Very scenic area, lovely.
Lady in swimming with a "I love you.." written on the sand!
Someone having a swim. Lucky person!
Sharsy, flights from Athens were about £85 but that could be a single. Good flight times though. Fair point too about 'B' and what the future holds, but the Greeks will still want and need the British tourist and I reckon year round flights would be great for everyone.
