Enbeejay, I've just had a quick look at Galway in Ireland and they say at approx. 4pm they will get gusts of up to 80 mph. and as you say St.Ives about 65mph. hope the cameras can stand the gusts.
It is getting really windy, with very strong gusts, in Cornwall, as backed up by the white topped waves, thanks to ex-hurricane Ophelia. Wind are due to peak in about 4-5 hours.
I would recommend anybody to come down to Newlyn. The fishermen are not as wild as they make them out to be on the tv, they are very friendly, hard working guys, and they don't bite, talking from experience of course. I love living down here :-)
So glad we're getting more UK webcams!! :)
Peter, thanks for that, It didn't look like a trawler.
Hi Mick, the grey vessel that looks a bit Navy, is the Fisheries Patrol boat.
Good morning everyone. It appears very misty this morning and not much movement from the vessels. Does anyone know if that is a navy vessel moored up in the background?
Really good to see UK cams online, i hope we get more of them, my favorites at the moment are the Zambia cams, thanks Skyline keep up the good work.
The full moon appears there on the horizon
Beautiful view!! touring the world virtually and discovering places of dreams. Thank you Skyline team.
The weather forecast is for the sun to appear in the next couple of hours, but this is Cornwall and the forecast is usually correct only 10% of the time!
Well done Skyline for another great UK webcam, Keep up your great work, Thank you.
Another great cam! I would love to come spend several weeks in Cornwall. Sounds like we'll have some nice boat viewing (if I can only get here when it's daylight).
I live here in Newlyn, and the boats come and go all day and night long, very busy harbour, in fact it's the most productive fishing port in England.
